HBA - Duxford Trip

Welland Class had their school trip to IWM Duxford. We travelled by coach and were greeted by the great sight of a Spitfire and a tank at the entrance. We walked through the Air Space building to place our bags, looking skyward towards the famous Concorde and other famous aircraft. Later on in the day, we had the chance to climb up into the Concorde and look at the controls which was very interesting.

On our tour, we journeyed through time to see aircraft from both the World Wars, including a Messerschmitt and Blackbird. On top of this already amazing experience, we were also treated to an unscheduled flight of the Spitfire! We saw it take off, land and waved and spoke to the pilots.
