HPA/HBA - D Day Memorial Commemoration

 Children from Holbeach Primary Academy and Holbeach Bank Academy joined member of the British Legion, All Saints Church and other local schools to take part in the 80th Anniversary of the D Day Landings in 1944.  The children represented both academies proudly and there were children from each that shared poems they had written.  Each child also laid a D Day flag to commemorate those that lost their lives in the D Day landings 80 years ago.  We could not have been more proud of the children who showed great respect in representing the academies and being part of this event.  The children had been learning about the D Day landings as part of their curriculum work and were able to share facts with members of the British Legion.
